Magicore 2 Year Anniversary at Occupy Your Face!!!

In celebration of 2 years of the Magicore blog, we've created these stickers. Featuring beautiful artwork by Joshua Decker, these stickers will be exclusively available at special events or by signing up for the Magicore newsletter (coming soon).

And speaking of special events, the first of such will be Monk Bucket's "OCCUPY YOUR FACE" free party in Little Tokyo at the 2nd Street Jazz Cafe. I'll be doing sound and DJing at the event.

Check the FB event page for more details:

10232011: Long overdue update.

It's been way too long since I updated on here. I got a full time job and finding time to work on NVR-NDR has been pretty spotty. However I'm certainly grateful to have a job right now!

Despite that, there has been a lot going on. I collaborated with Kroyclub & Kool Skull to create the track "Brutal Falafel".

available for free download here:

NVR-NDR was featured on the FREAKING AWESOME podcast Solipsistic Nation. Which rooled. You can check out that episode here:

solipsistic NATION No. 257: NVR-NDR, Live

Robot Circus, a totally rad weekly radio show / podcast hosted by everyone's favorite cyborg Johan Ess, also dropped some NVR-NDR beats on their 6th episode.

Johan Ess presents Robot Circus - Episode 6

Here's a bit of footage from the show with Bubblegum Octopus and Vyncent Flaw.

Big thanks to Beauty is Pain.

Hopefully I will update here more often!

More photos from the show coming soon, if you have any photos or video please send them my way!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make that show last weekend the insane psychedelic bonanza that it was. Kid Static is one mega funky mofo, and it was super cool to hear old Kissing Tigers favorites like "I Died in a Mall." Especially thanks to the fantastically spicy Ming & Ping for letting NVR-NDR open the night! What a blast.

I got to do a little phone interview on the end of the newest episode of Solipsistic Nation. Solipsistic Nation is a highly informative free form podcast run by Bazooka Joe, dedicated to "bringing you the best of all genres of electronic music." This episode features a interview with Jack Dangers of Meat Beat Manifesto about his new album "Answers Come in Dreams." I got to do a little shout out about the show and about the new free NVR-NDR live album.

Cyber fairy loli DJ BZZZRP! has some bangin' parties coming up so be sure to check out her tumblr and follow her on twitter.
